KAPEKS Nova 65-55 is a cap sensitive, highly water resistant, economic and versatile packaged emulsion explosive designed for underground, tunneling and construction works. It can be used as main charge in underground applications as well as being used as a primer in surface bench blasting and trenching applications. It provides superior performance and a safe working conditions and it is a chemically stable and sturdy product.
KAPEKS Nova 65-55 cap-sensitive explosives, which are manufactured in different diameters, could be initiated by any type of detonators with #8 strength or detonating cords with a minimum 10 gr/m charge. If it is initiated with a detonator, it is highly recommended to insert the detonator into the bottom cartridge with its tip towards the charging direction. If it is initiated by a detonating cord, insert the tip of the cord into the cartridge and ensure keeping the cord firmly in contact with the cartridge.
KAPEKS Nova 65-S5 cap sensitive explosives are manufactured as both sides clipped high density polyethylene cartridges at below listed cartridge sizes. Each box is barcoded and each cartridge is marked with a serial number for traceability. These cartridges are packed in 20 kg reinforced cardboard boxes.
