KAPEKSDET DUAL

NON-ELECTRIC SURFACE DELAY N-HOLE INITIATION SYSTEM

About the Product

KAPEKSDET Dual is an easy to use non-electric system which combines surface delay elements and in-hole detonators in a single assembly. It can be used for applications including pipelines, trench blasting, quarries, open pits and construction projects

Product Features

  • Surface and in-hole delays are together as a single unit. Minimizes the stock inventory.
  • It can with stand to extreme weather conditions. Highly resistant to abrasion and breaking.
  • Easy to connect and control.
  • Not affected by radio frequencies andstatic electricity.
  • Helps reducing the ground vibration and air blast levels by providing different delay times for each hole.

Ignition Information

KAPEKSDET Dual can be initiated with KAPEKSDET shock tube surface delay elements, electrical detonators or any detonating cord with minimum Sgr/m PETN. Connections of the surface connector blocks between the blastholes should not be too tight. This may cause a misfire during initiation. Shock tube should not be damaged during charging or stemming. Blast initiation tie-up design should be prepared by using different surface delays depending on the objectives of the blasting application.

Packaging Description

KAPEKSDET DUAL detonator assemblies are coiled in figure 8 or figure O, packed in anti-static polyethylene bags and put into cardboard boxes. Each box is barcoded and each detonator has a serial number for traceability.
